Outdoor dreamland

One great way for you and your kids to get some rehearsal and have fun while doing it is to play some outdoor games. They are very engaging and it is a much good alternative then watching Tv all day.

1. Red Light Green Light

The kids start racing to the discontinue line. When you yell Red Light all the kids have to stop running and freeze, if they do not they are disqualified. Then when you yell green light they can start running again at least until you yell red light again.

The person who crosses the discontinue line first is the winner.

2. Capture the Flag

If you have enough population this can be a great game to play. Each team hides a flag on their field and tries to capture the other teams flag before the other team captures their flag.

Ideally you want to hide your flag somewhere that is not unmistakably noticeable, but those who are on your team can check back to make sure it is still there.

3. 3 Legged Race

Everyone gets into small teams consisting of just 2 people. Then each team member has one of their legs tied together with their partner so that each team has 2 population who combined have 3 legs. The teams races and the first one to make it to the discontinue line is the winner. It can be pretty hard to share a leg with person else, especially when they move it 1 way and you move it the other.

4. Scavenger Hunt

Here you give your kids clues to find more clues to find more clues to find the final prize. This game can be pretty entertaining, but you have to be able to use your imagination.
